Route

The Luwte is in the centre of Amsterdam, the Jordaan district. From central station it is a 15 minute stroll to Restaurant the Luwte. There is also a possibility to take the public transportation; there are trams and busses that stop in the neighborhood at station ‘Westermarkt’.

Public transportation

From the central station in Amsterdam you can either take tram 13 or 17 or bus 21, 170, 171 or 172 to come to restaurant the Luwte. You get off at the station ‘Westermarkt’, from the station you walk on the right of the West Church (next to the gay monument) to the Keizergracht. Then you take the first bridge to the right and you will find yourself on the Leliegracht. Restaurant de Luwte is on your left hand.

By car

If you are coming by car, from the highway (A10) take the exit named ‘Centrum’ (s105). Nearby the restaurant you can park your car, in the Centrum you have to buy a ticket in order to park. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
